Alright - So if I've understood the "then" word correctly for A Game of Thrones (unlike how it works in Magic the Gathering), the parts after "then" does not occur if the first part is not fulfilled. So, if I play this card, and I do not have any attachments in my deck (or choose to find none... not sure if that is allowed though - another question anyway) - what happens? Do I search my entire deck and then put it back without shuffling it?

OK. I do of course realize that this is most likely not the case - I just want to know exactly where the line is drawn. Does it only apply if ALL the parts before "then" aren't fulfilled? So that it can still proceed even if only the "search" is made, not the "put into play"?

Edit: This applies to most search cards, like At the Gates, don't know why I picked this card :P

(1.2) Shuffling After a Search

If a player searches any deck for any reason,

he must shuffle the deck to the satisfaction of

his opponent(s) upon completion of the search.

No such luck ;-)

Well the card in question is a response ability, so you don't have to trigger it when it comes into play if you know you don't have any attachments. If you do want to reshuffle your deck you could still trigger it (provided it is Summer naturally), fail at finding anything and then still shuffle your deck.

However, like Grim pointed out, anytime you search your deck, regardless of success, you must reshuffle.

Though I'm sure it is questions like this one that made FFG include that update into the FAQ just to stop people from looking through their decks during failed searches & not reshuffling.
All right, they'd already thought of it :) Thanks guys.
Am I mistaken or is this one of the few (or maybe even the only one) search cards which do not require to reveal the card you found?

FAQ states that if you search your deck for a specific card or card type, you must reveal it to verify it is the appropriate card, but that does not count as "revealing" a card in terms of card mechanics
