One of a few ambush attachments available. It's Weapon so can be attached to some army characters. +1 STR for each opponent character in dead pile in melee can be a beast. Even in joust it can give enough strength to ruin our opponent plans. Additionally nice syn-energy with Rakharo (IG). I would not count on this last combo but even without it quite good weapon attachment in Dothraki build.

Even with all the current attachment hate, ambush makes this act nearly like an event... it's a seriously good card for the cost and can easily seal a challenge win (if not several challenges if it cant be countered quickly enough)

What happens to this attachment during the Dominance phase or thereafter, if it gets attached to a character via ambush during challenges, and that character only gained the Dothraki trait via a
Copper Link (GotC) or a
Hall of Dragons (AHM) during the challenges phase? Does the attachment falls off and gets discarded because the character has lost the gained trait at the end of Challenges phase, or does it stay attached?

It will be discarded the moment attached character isn't a dothraki anymore.
Same is true if the characters trait gets blanked with something like Meera Reed or Nightmares.

Those cards actually blank a character's traits? Huh, I guess it's only Milk of the Poppy (Core) that doesn't...
