Supppose Archmaester Marwyn is killed. Can i still attach him here and trigger a plot card?
I don't see why not.
The Response here is a replacement effect, like Retreat. The card still goes through "moribund" before becoming a facedown attachment. After Marwyn is killed, his own effect triggers a plot and this card attaches him facedown to the attachment when he is sent to his "final destination" (Step 6). So it doesn't even matter what order the Responses are triggered in .
