Yeah, you would. The FAQ defines the word "play" as:
Use Zollo's effect if you want to destroy a friendship.
This would destroy the Redwyne Straights + Knights of the Hollow Hill combo.
It's pretty much pointless to try it after HH errata eitherway
What was it? Can't find it.
KotHH now counts as five cards at your command I think
Just to check the timing of this, each player counts income when they become the active player in the Marshalling phase, correct? So the only time you could steal gold with him is if they have any gold left over after their marshalling and you go second?
Even without his ability he's a 1 gold bicon with 2 str. Always worth considering. Almost certain to include in a Dothraki deck.
Good point. I maybe prefer the Targ Dothraki 2 drops but a one-of could sneak into my Dothraki build. And he does do a nice job of holding off dominance and shadows pop-outs.
He's also hilarious in melee, when someone picks the Master of Coin
Why? Master of Coin doesn't get his/her extra gold until he/she counts in come in the Marshaling phase. Am I missing something? Why is that any funnier than normal? Or is it just particularly ironic?
Wow. We were totally playing that wrong, and looking through the manual, I'm not even sure how we made the mistake. We were also drawing with Master of Laws at the same time. Whoops.
