I don't think the house Stark only is very Nedly. Ser Payne uses it in aGoT.

Well, if you want it Nedly, Widow's Wail (LotR) should have "after Widow's Wail enters play, discard Ice from play." :)

It says kneel and discard from play, does this just mean kneel and put it in the discard pile or does it come under the "removed from play rule" meaning it cant be recycled?

If I kneel and discard this to kill a character after that character is declared as a defended, I'm assuming that character is moved to the dead pile prior to the challenge resolving and therefore does not count it's strength.
