does this stop you from adding deadly via Long Ship Black Wind
edit**** does this stop the keyword working not stop you from giving it to the character

yes, it stops deadly from being effective.

Black wind adds it to the text box but Milk of the poppy blanks the text box thus milk of the poppy remains stronger.
I don't think that is correct. Milk of the Poppy blanks the text box but the deadly is not added to a characters text box rather that character "gains" deadly but not through it's own text box but the locations text box.
Yes this is true. Milk blanks the printed text box. It does not blank any gained effects like the deadly from the location

It blanks the print....hmmm
interesting so then giving someone an ability from something like Black wind does not give them the keyword X (deadly in this case) on the card it just makes them X (deadly) so it can bypass any ability which blanks the text box.

It wouldn't blank the text box of a further attachement (beside Milk Of The Popppy) on that character in addition, would it?

This only affects the printed text box of the character it is attached to. Any text gained from other attachments or effects would not be blanked.
