does this card stay attached till the character is killed? is there anyway to remove it?

It stays attached until character or attachment itself is removed from play. There are a lot of ways to remove att from play, Targ has the most (Mad king's legacy, Viserys,Dragon Thief, Daeny's Handmaiden,Rain of Fire ... There's probably more). There's plot Lost message, Martells have Maester of Lemonwood, Bara has Maester Cressen...

Stark could attach a Frozen Solid to it to blank it (which would be as effective as removing it), just to add to the list of how to deal with it.

Is this considered a triggered effect? Would the Joffrey from TftRK be immune?

It is a passive.  Bolded qualifiers such as "Any Phase: or Marshalling:" set triggered effects apart from passives.

"Triggered" also means that the effect only happens if a player wants it to. Anything that happens automatically, either because something else happened or because a card happens to be in play, is not considered "triggered" because a player has no say in whether it happens or not. You can't, for example, say that the attached character does not get the -4 STR during a particular challenge with this card.

I would have a general question as a newbe:

Situation: An opponent plays it on a character, that I control and in the sequel Stinking Drunk will be somehow discarded...

Question: does it go the the discard pile of the card's original owner or to the discard pile of that very Player, who controled the character Stinking Drunk was attached to??

Many thanks.

When cards leave play, they always go to their OWNER'S dead/discard pile.
