Is there a nice combo with this card besides Ghost (Core)?
Since it doesn't specify that it must be your character, you can use it with Recruiter for the Watch (TWH) to give a Night's Watch trait and discard opponent's character and get a Night's Watch character for yourself at the same time.

@Raven - i don't think so. This is one of those implied 'cost' situations and cost must always be payed with your own cards. Otherwise, you could kneel an opponent's knight to search your deck for a knight with muster (core) etc.

Muster (Core) specifies it must be your knight. Besides there is quite high chance that there will be a Knight in opponent's deck, unlike the Night's Watch character [maybe except Maester Aemon (Core)].
.
Ghost doesnt work. If you don't discard one of your OWN characters you wont pay the cost of the effect, so it wont trigger. You can only pay for effects with your own cards.

Thanks for your comments and explanation about where the costs must be paid with.
@Vincu: Why doesn´t Ghost work? Would Ghosts response negate the payment (discarding your own character) so Yoren´s Task would be canceled?
Just to clear things up here:

1. The discard portion of this card is the cost to play this card.
2. You have to use your own cards to pay a cost.
3. If you cancel a cost, then you never payed the cost. As a result, the effect fizzles.

Hy guys!
I have a question about Yoren's task. If my opponent wins a military challenge against me and tries to kill a specific character with either Deadly or Die by the Sword, can I discard that character to search for another one, or I he kills that before Yoren's Task's effect??
Thanks all!
Yoren's Task is an Any Phase effect. In other words, it is a Player Action and starts an Action Window, and cannot be played in the middle of an already opened window.

Die By The Sword is a Response, and Deadly is a Passive. Responses and Passives only trigger inside already opened Action Windows. So by the time you could play Yoren's Task, the character would already be in your dead pile.

Also as a side note. Once a card becomes moribund, it cannot be made moribund again. So even if Yoren's Task was also a response, Deadly would have made the character you wished to discard Moribund, so you wouldnt be able to discard it with Yoren's Task. With Die By The Sword it would depend who the First Player is when it comes to playing the cards, but in either case, 2 different characters would still end up leaving the field.
I believed so too, but wasn't 100% sure.
And by what you said, if i have to kill a character to satisfy a military claim, I still can't choose the same character for the claim and for Yoren's Task?!
Right. If you have to kill a character for military claim, that character is already moribund, so you can't kill it again, or discard it. Also if you killed a character for Military claim, you still wouldn't be able discard it for Yoren's Task because the character will be in the dead pile by the time you have the option to open a new Action Window with Yoren's Task.

Remember these 3 things:
1. Yoren's Task is an Action, and can only be used to start an Action Window. You cannot use an Action in the middle of an already opened Action Window.
2. Moribund cards leave play at the end of the Action Window.
3. A card that is Moribund cannot be made Moribund a 2nd time.
