Just as a reminder, if you look for a rules question here. As written in the forum, she can can trigger the effect herself by coming out of shadows.
Yes... and for a really great write up of how she can be abused... check out Kennon's ATS article: http://www.cardgamed...adows-article-2

She can be a force to be reckoned with when combined with Sister of Truth (KotStorm).

That is until she gets burned to the ground. :(
She's STR 3 at least, making it slightly harder to burn her :)

I've seen 9 STR characters get burned, 3 str isn't as safe as it may have been in the past. Especially with a The Dragonpit (TftRK) in play on a Threat from the North (PotS) turn, which seems to happen pretty regularly.
True... but you really have to decide its worth burning a 9 STR character, so Laxen's point is still good. It requires more work to burn a 3 STR or higher. That said, with Incinerate (VM) in the game... nothing is safe anymore. Muahahaha...

That's exactly my point Doulos. With some of the new burn plus the 2 things I mentioned before, it doesn't really take all that much to burn a 3 STR down. And if you have QoT out with any amount of power on her, you can be sure she would be a target.
Well, sounds like you're facing the side effect of playing in a meta that plays a LOT of Burn... I'm the only Burn player in my meta. Going with your logic... all Renown characters are a bad play though. Frankly, this is still a great Bara card to add to any Rush that uses Shadows. The more characters you have with Power on them the harder it is for Targ to choose. And, frankly, this card can close a game for you. Bring her out for 1 extra power at Dom (giving you +3 STR at Dom), bring Sister of Truth out at Standing phase for 1 more (then put her back), then bring her back out at the beginning of taxation for 1 more. Granted... you need 3 gold to pull that off... but if you think you'll get close, that could be all you need. Only the experienced Burn player is going to react to that if they have the right cards in hand (they've normally played them by that point).

Regardless - this is a solid include in a Bara Shadows deck.

Not disagreeing in the slightlest.
lol, I'm the only burn deck in my meta too. And yes - Incinerate sure makes STR chars easier to burn although it seems to me it's far from a safe bet if not playing tribal (haven't tested the card yet tbh). But I still believe that STR 3 makes a difference (maybe not as much as it used to do, hence the "slightly") as you're always dependent on having multiple cards to handle it. :)
Yep - as a Burn player - I agree. It tends to take more work, but slothgodfather is right in that if you see a character with power on it... they're the more likely target for Burn (unless they're protected through some other means).
You're so diplomatic! Bet ye, definitely :)
I see no reason to believe otherwise but just to be sure, can she trigger when a dupe of a unique card comes out of shadows?
Yes. She doesn't require a card to enter play. She can be triggered when any card comes out of shadows - even a dupe.
