If the challenge was a military challenge - does the cards fullfil the criteria for The Siege of Winterfell (LoW)?
IÂ´m asking because of the time it takes effect is different: The Agenda says ""during a Military challenge" and the Event "after you win a challenge".

Yes, the Response happens inside of the "Challenge" even though the actual winner has already been determined.

Even claiming power with The Siege of Winterfell is a Response to winning the military challenge:

"RESPONSE: After you win a Military challenge, claim 2 power for your House."

Is it 8 or more total str in the challenge, or on your board total?

It's referring to the total strength (including title) you committed to the challenge.

That's what I thought. I was playing with someone who swore up and down that it meant total strength in play. The wording is somewhat ambiguous as to this, so I let it go and figured I'd double check here.

What if someone is defending instead of me and winning. May i play the card?

" After you win a challenge" and "count 8 or more total STR". The card doesn't care if you are attacking or defending. But you must win the challenge and must count at least 8 STR within that challenge.
