Can I use several Parting blows after one character leaves play?

Yup, each one has its own response. This is true of events generally rather than just Parting Blow, if you have 2 copies of a normal response event you can play both back to back.

ok then we played it correctly, I just got a bit worried if "character leaves play" was considered a cost and falls under the FAQ rule

(3.3) Effects Per Cost
When a cost is paid for an effect, the same cost cannot be applied to a different effect

Nope. There is a formula for identifying cost. Do X to do Y. The X is always the cost. In the case of Parting Blow, the only cost is the implied "play this event to trigger it's response". As an additional note, since the text pre-Then must be successful, you do have to successfully kneel a character to get the post-Then text of drawing a card.

I may play this event after I brought a card back to shadow since it has left the game. Am I correct?

You mean with something like Arya Stark (CoS) or Sister of Truth (KotStorm)? Then yes.
