Can I play a duple of a unique char with the keyword 'ambush' in any phase o just in marshalling?

I believe the rules state you can only play a dupe for free during marshalling, but if you are paying the influence cost to put Drogon into play with Ambush (and already have one of him in play) then yes, the new one would become a dupe.
