So not only does this card allow you to remove power from your opponents characters, but use it as gold. All for 1 gold.

This seems like such an absurd kick in the balls for Bara Rush and Brotherhood decks.

In a Brotherhood deck you are essentially forced to save your At the Gates to bring out a Maester of the Lemonwood or Maester Cresson because you cannot afford to have even two rounds of this attachments ability.

God this seems like another control element Lannister didn't need.
Would this work on Joffrey Baratheon (TftRK)?

I would assume it would since it is a passive effect and not a response.

Ah, good point!
Agree that this does seem like a CRAZY powerful card. Why not run 1 or 2 copies OOH in ANY deck just as a check on a "Rush" deck? Spend 3 gold and put it on a character that already has 2 power on it, and you've basically only spent 1 gold to remove 2 power tokens from an opponent...
This card is going into my Lannister deck. Extra gold to fuel my Shadow character.
Cant believe that there is no max limit a round (say 2-3). Just seems to be a massive advantage for the lannisters with pretty much zero draw back.
I think that the card doesn't do anything when facing characters that doesn't claim power is quite a drawback :P

A lot of my Stark builds have very little renown characters in them, so it isn't uncommon for me to play a game that ends with my house holding all of my power.
3 of my 4 current decks don't put power onto their characters.

I can see this card being used against Beric or Knight of Flowers and Robert Baratheon, but all too often I think you'll be regretting having this card in your deck when you sit with it on your hand. I'd play Milk of the Poppy before this card if I want to handle renown since it can also handle a lot of other stuff.

It might be a bit better in melee though, but I don't think I'd play it there either.
My targs (at least non dragon variant) seem to be quite low on renown characters :)
It doesn't matter if playing against deck that puts power on characters, since you can use Head of a Dwarf to force players to put power on character of your choice.

I have a feeling, that Lannisters will have a new restricted card... ;]
Haha. Neat combo :D

I don't think it even close to being restricted though since after you've established the combo, you can't make military challenges against that player anymore (since the character will be killed for claim). Veteran Spearman etc could help you though buy, ye, too tedious to be broken.
It will also allow you to use opponent's power to pay for the claim by combo with Lannisport (Core) [basically you'll be moving power from opponent's characters to your house] after intrigue challenges [same with Maester Creylen]. Add the upcoming agenda in the Lannister Box [Allows to initiate additional intrigue challenge] and you'll get a pretty combination. ;]

Btw, how do you make a link that shows the card [the miniature] when you move cursor over it? Mine doesn't seem to work... :[
Ye, that's some nice synergies. Looks like we got a deck going ;)
can't find the tool here so I think its only for the forums.

Card is very powerfull and good that can be used out of house. Two in one get rid of opponent power and get money. Of course it's kind of meta against decks with a lot renown or character based like
Beric Dondarrion (IG). I agree that it's far for being restricted as still a lot of decks don't gather power on characters. For Lannister this card is brilliant as for 1 gold they have 50 % good meta card.
@Scottie:
Maester of Lemonwood (BtW) will not help as At the Gates (GotC) was errated and now you can get in house or neutral characters. Maester Cressen (Core) would work but you give damages before he can destroy this card.

Does It remove Just 1 Power? Or all The tokens on The character?

It only affects Power tokens, but the amount depends on how much you're spending. Attaching this to your opponents Red Viper for example effectively gives you 1 extra gold to spend (but not for dominance) for each Power on him.
