This is kind of interesting, but is the most easily burned ally in the game. Why did they give it ally? It'd be more likely to see play without that. Of course, there's no cost on it (it's a question mark), so not sure whether or not it's worth it.

Yeah, I don't think I'd want to pay more than 1 gold for it. If it's cost 0, it'll be interesting, cost 1 borderline, cost 2 already not worth it, in my opinion, especially with the Ally trait.

More interesting might have been: Remove ally, give it renown, cost 4, opponent may only trigger effect of, "You may discard the top card of your deck to remove a power from this character." I dunno.

Cost is too high agree. Ally treat is bad but it seems that this keyword become new FFG standard. I see it so often in last few expansions. In discard deck maybe but it can be 0 STR character and decision is in opponent hand. i don't like personally to give my opponent decision so I woul keep him out of play.

One question. If motley crewman (IG) in the game, whether the opponent discard 2 cards to use this answer or not?

No - Motley Crewmen says "Any effect that discards 1 or more cards from an opponent's deck discards an additional card.", but with Iron Fleet Raiders, discarding a card is a cost, not an effect.
