Perfect!Combine with "Ambush from the plains".And question can I save him from being discarded?There is nothing about "cannot be saved"
Since it says "...discard Jhogo TO claim X power...", discarding him is a cost of the effect. So no, you cannot save him from being discarded. There is no place in the timing structure to save a character from being discarded for cost. And anyway, if you saved him, you would not have paid the cost - and if you do not pay the cost, you cannot get the effect.
