Pardon my asking, but when precisely is this card played? Is it at 4.2.2, immediately after the challenge winner/loser is determined? Presuming this removes the only attacking character, then would Claim and Keywords not be applicable? Thank you very much!
It's immediately after 4.2.2, as you say. However, at that point the winner/loser/unopposed/STR status of the challenge has been set, and even if you remove their only attacker, you'll still be awarding UO, satisfying claim, and using keywords. Now obviously any effect/keywords on the dead character won't matter - so, for instance, kiling Cersei in 4.2.2 will prevent her claim raising effect from applying to 4.2.4 (claim).
Thank you as always for the clear and thorough (not to mention utterly reliable) response. Let's say the killed Character is Dany...would her Insight trigger before she is killed by "Like Warm Rain", or is she dead before it triggers. I believe the former, but would just like to confirm. Thanks again!

It's the later. If Dany is killed by Like Warm Rain, she is dead before her Insight can activate and you do NOT get the card.
Challenge-based keywords like Insight are specifically resolved in 4.2.5, so a card with a challenge-based keyword needs to survive to 4.2.5 before they can use their Insight, Renown, Intimidate or Pillage. If they die from a reaction to winning/losing the challenge between 4.2.2 and 4.2.3, they will be out of play (and their text therefore inactive) before you get to 4.2.5.
This is the same thing as istaril's example of Cersei needing to survive until 4.2.4 in order for her claim raising effect to apply.

Am I correct in assuming that you cannot kneel Lady as she is an attachment no a character even though she has the direwolf trait.
You can't kneel Lady to activate Like Warm Rain
I used this Turn 1 against my opponents Tyrion. It made me happy.
