Can this remove attachments from your cards? milk of the poppy?

Yes.

Is this worth playing over other events like The Kraken Grasp and Risen from the sea?

I find his 1 cost not appealing so they end up being dead cards in my hand....

Yes this is worth playing especially IMO over krakens grasp. We do not Sow is a grey card. Deals with milk of the poppy, problem locations and if necessary it's even nice to spend your one gold this one turn to stop your opponents roseroads giving them 1 gold every turn for the rest of the game.

The only thing that hurts for synergy with Kraken's Grasp is Asha and maybe the Seastone Chair. This will clear milk off anyone. A far better, more dynamic card here to my eye.

Thanks for the answer David. I've been thinking on cutting it, as both Risen and Grasp have been more useful to me this far, basically because they cost 0. I have a problem with GJ and economy...

The power is one I would defenetelly use, but that one gold is not right there when I need it the most, since GJ usually wants to go first and overflood the board with characters or locations. I rather use that gold to marshal the Chair than use it to take the Roseroads. I will give it a second try later, to see if it can perform better.
