Heh. Hadn't thought of it that way.
It doesn't say different characters so I assume I can count more than 1 copy of a unique if necessary?
"A character" is always one card. It cannot ever refer to more than one card.
For clarity:
I think what he's asking is if revealing 2 copies of Garden Caretaker and 2 copies of Maester Lomys from your hand would pay the cost. Since you have revealed 4 Tyrell character cards, the cost would be paid - even though some of those revealed cards have the same title. They are all considered "characters" while in your hand.
Though I'm not sure it warrants including 1 copy of Lomys, let alone 2, in a deck
And it's another 0-cost Tyrell event to interfere with the ability on Paxter. Seriously, FFG, why print him and the not print decent targets for his ability?
