Not sure I understand this thematically. I would get it if it was, like, "Arya's List" but what does this have to do with the Crypt?

The Stark boys, Osha, and Hodor were hiding in the Winterfell Crypts when they were being looked for.  Then Theon had other bodies burnt and lied about the boys being killed.  Basically, the act of shuffling a character back into the deck is as if that character is no longer looking for the boys because they found out they were killed.

That is at least kind of my interpretation of it.  It's not meant to necessarily be a direct relationship to the history of the crypts I don't think.  Just as a relationship to how they were used by the boys maybe?

I could be completely off base since CP cycle 1 is supposed to be representative mostly of the first book and the above didn't happen until much later.

I agree that's probably the theme they were going for, but surely the way to represent that would be to shuffle your own guy back into the deck instead of killing/discarding? Obviously I'm in the minority there.

As to the card, I'm glad it says printed str, and its really good - autoinclude I'd go as far as to say.

I would think shuffling an opponent's character back into the deck would represent that they aren't looking for them anymore.

So I guess this doesn't work against tears? I mean seriously, Iron Mines doesn't have a phase restriction, did this really need it? It already only works with Stark uniques...

How does this work against an opponent's character if that character has a dupe?

Dupe can save against anything that makes a character leave play, including being returned to the deck

Is it confirmed that this doesn't work against Tears?

Yes. Check the rules boards; http://www.cardgamed...nterfell-crypt/

I'm confused: as the card reads "printed strength" in regards to their character, not your own, you are counting the total strength of your own character at the time of their sacrifice or death, correct? Therefore let's say Jory Cassel is sacrificed with Needle on him, you could target a character with printed 5 Strength or lower? Or is the "printed strength" referring to both cards and just not worded very clear?

Yes, not very clear, but it's referring to both cards. So Jory can shuffle STR 3 characters (printed). But look at the good side: Sansa (new) and Hodor can shuffle printed 4 STR, and they both cost 2 gold.
