like fat bob from 1 edition
He is great for the stats alone. The double renown thing is just the icing on the cake. I can't wait to toy with him in my Tyrell/Wolf knights deck.
Time to build Bara/Wolf
Not quite. Fat Bob took the "extra renown" himself, so you were always assured of getting the second power. Eddard's extra power can only be gained if you have at least 2 participating characters by the time challenge keywords are resolved. It's kind of odd to put an ability on a 6-STR character that requires a bunch of extra participants in challenges that he can win on his own.
I predict that he will not turn out to be as amazing in practice as he appears on paper.
The synergy with the new Catelyn and the Blackfish is amazing. Even if you don't have them, any other participating character will work, even neutrals. There are already many cards like Cassel or Winterfell Castle which encourage to use several characters. Imagine the power grab with him and Robb, standing, and using them twice each. That's 6 power right there! I could be wrong of course, but I can't predict him being anything short of amazing.
