Can't wait to play with this guy! Couple him with the new Eddard, and suddely getting to 4 pow isn't that hard. And then Cat can just turn off everything for your opponent in int and pow challenges without kneeling? Savage.

I want to try him with Lady Sansa's Rose for a one challange 4 power gain. Maybe with his draw and Rodd's, doing a Stark/Rose Knight deck might be more viable than my current Tyrell/Wolf one. Attacking with Rodd and him should net you 3 cards each round, which should be enough to pull all your key cards.

The problem might be having the economy to support that kind of deck...

Right after the knights pack came out I ran stark/rose (top 4 one SC, under cut via tiebreakers another), I think the stark house card gives much better tech than the tyrell one for that build. Winter is coming and Catelyn are awesome and all the tyrell knights tech is disloyal. I'm hesitant to go back to it now though with first snow griefing mares on chumps, which really fueled those decks.

I get what you mean, but back then, the Tyrells where the ones with the draw power, which made me inclined to choose them as the main faction.

Now that Starks have enough draw to rival theirs (Rod and Blackfish can draw you 2+ card each round), and that Green Dreams can be used with the Winterfell Gates to improve your draw too, that's not true anymore. Although since the release of the First Snow of Winter, economy might be the weakest trait (you want to recruit knights and ladies resiliant to that, which is not cheap). The Arbor allows you to mitigate that, so there's that to think about.

I wanted to build a Tully deck, and maybe that's what the deck is going to be. Another take on the Knights and Ladies deck, but this time, from the Starks point of view. Rod, Blackfish and old Catelyn make for an awesome trinity. The knights plots might not be even needed.

Draw was troublesome, but coppers was enough for its basic needs. Certainly doing a blackfish build for it would yield better draw, if you can keep those pesky milks away.

The knights plot is a trap, getting a big enough board for it to hit for more than 1-2 power is dicey. Maybe someday with kings of summer growing the economy.

The knights plot is much better utilized as a way to make the blackfish immune to events for a turn that it is to make an army of chuds have renown. However with tumblestone knight being a tully knight, giving him renown while the blackfish has 4 power seems good

I've been surprised at how possible it is to get him to 4 power. It only took 3 in 1.0, and I don't think I ever made it there (his draw was the main selling point). But with Eddard and the minstrel, go go power Blackfish.

I can't wait for the upcomming Riverrun to make him even faster. My Tully deck performed better than I expected, mostly because I underestimated how strong Winterfell was. The +1 saves Blackfish from terminal burn, and the second effect plus Catelyn can prevent most targetted kill effects.
