Love that it's first Tag is unbreakable and has a decent strength/cost to rez. I put two of these along with 2x Scorched Earths in my Jinteki deck.

Could somone explain how the hosted power counter works? What triggers the ability for the runner tot recieve a tag?

The player triggers the ability by spending a Hosted counter from Data Raven. See the rulebook pg 11 under the section Paid Abilities for an example of spending a hosted counter.

I've come to see that this card is one of the strongest cards you can have in the game for a tag deck

This will become stronger and stronger as NBN get more ways to punish tags. Definitely the most reliable taggin card around.

The value of this card has certainly gone down. Just tagging the runner is not enough anymore. The strongest faction (criminal) just ignores this ice completely. I don't even put this in my NBN decks anymore because I can't afford to have a dead card against the strongest faction. Sure, it stacks tags against them so you can psycho-beale, but so does Bernice, and I'd much rather use her because she's a free upgrade. Shadow is a much better ice than this because it's slightly cheaper and does something in addition to tagging.

If the runner decided to end the run instead of taking a tag, does the trace still fire?
