Aka Infiltration etc.
How does this interact with Snitch? If I prevent the runner from exposing an unrezzed ICE, is the possibility to jack out from that ICE also forfeited?
Snitch says: Once per run, you may expose an unrezzed piece of ice when you approach it. You may then jack out.
So, good question. By preventing the expose, it seems like it would prevent the follow on option to jack out. However, I wouldn't be surprised by the ruling going either way.
I found a post on bgg (https://boardgamegee...206192#11206192) that had this quote in it:
Also, note that the Runner can still jack out as normal if it is not the first piece of ice being encountered.
But I wasn't able to verify that it was official with a quick cross check, and I don't have time to dig into it so I'll leave it to someone else to pursue.
Regarding Snitch, "if the expose effect is prevented, the Runner can still jack out." --Official FAQ (3/25/15), page 7.
Good sleuthing!
Nice to know. Thank you!
