trace 5 coming in next pack, but if FAQ keeps this interpretation i cant see this card leaving my binder
Still pretty niche though. I can't see many decks having room (or memory) for this.
Works well against:
- Ash
- Bernice Mai
- Checkpoint
- Flare
- Foxfire
- Midseason Replacements
- Punitive Counterstrike
- Sherlock 1.0
- Uroboros
- Gutenberg
- Self-destruct (in a big server)
- Archangel
- Assassin
- Turnpike
In my opinion, Checkpoint and Punitive Counterstrike alone are reasons to consider taking Disrupter with you.
I wonder, can you trash Disrupter even after the corporation has spent credits to increase the trace strength? Or only when the trace is initiated?
Iirc there is no window to use paid abilities once the corp has boosted the strength of a trace.
Lukas ruled on this. Disrupter must be used prior to credits being spent.
I'm curious if we'll see more splashable tracer/tag protection like this when D&D comes out, or if link will become more prominent with Sunny's cards adding extra incentive.
In my review of Sunny I mentioned that Disrupter might actually be playable for her.
