I wonder how many runners would go after this in an unprotected server? For 0 cost, the runner has to pay 3 to trash it. Like PAD Campaign - it's tempting not to, but multiple copies in play would be brutal. Too bad it's an asset.
You have to play some other cards the runner just has to trash when installed, if you want it to work - I think your best bet would be to combo this with a lot of Red Herrings and other credit-chokers. Currently, I'm thinking NBN could pull this off, haven't tested my new deck yet, though.
Really fun card to build decks around. HB, NBN and Jinteki all have fun uses for this.
Cost's me two clicks to put out, costs the runner one click and 3 creds to get rid of. This card is good all on it's own, and a staple in my upgrade-heavy NBN deck. Unprotected Pad Campaigns serve the same purpose; it'll cost the runner to get rid of them, but it'll cost them even more not to. Encryption Protocol just makes this trade even more in Corps favor.
And this is why Whizzard is my favorite runner. I think naked financial assets and cards like this are one of, if not the most powerful, moves the corp has at their disposal. The whiz neutralizes this. You could protect them with cheap ICE, but if you have to rez an Enigma to protect a PAD (and you will if I have anything to do about it), that's three more turns until it begins paying out, which is meh at best. Great commentary on Encryption Protocol though, I am thinking of using it, though Ash serves me better in my Haas deck.
