Costly, but , wow, that ability. And at strength 5 too.
An ideal 1-of in a Shaper deck if hosted on Dinosaurus, especially considering how many ways the deck has to search something like this out.
This ice-breaker is surely better than three stars! I realise it is expensive, but put it in combination with Data Sucker (rarely even needed) and you have total dominance over barriers.

3 stars is a good rating for this card. It is expensive in both memory and credits. And many people don't even play big barriers. And if you run into a barrier you can't break with Corroder, it usually just ends the run. No harm done.
It got better with Retrieval Run and it will get even better with Scavenge and other cards that reward you for digging into your own trashcan

This card is already beginning to reshape the meta. Morningstar is perhaps one of the cheapest ways to get through Eli, which is a key card in taxing decks.

This card is insane with Tinkering, especially with event recursion.

With a datasucker or bishops it can take down bigger ice and getting through a heimdall for 1 is worth quite a bit.

Mostly, this card is pure Red Coats, taxing deck hate. Try it! I run a single copy in my criminals and I love it.
