Install a Breaking News. Next round, double-advance and score it, and swap it with the stolen Vanity Project.
Looks like a fair trade to me.
A zero-cost reverse Turntable that doesn't rely on a score? Solid stuff for tagging strategies.
Are the Corp bosses (Chairman Hiro, Victoria Jenkins, Director Haas, The Board) still considered to be 2-point Agendas when swapping them into my score area as a Corp?
I don't know of an official ruling one way or the other, but the rules text is "add (him/her) to the Runner's score area as an agenda", EoI says "Swap an agenda in your score area with an agenda in the Runner’s score area."...so on the face of it baring a ruling otherwise this should be a legal play.
The more interesting question is what then happens to the exec cards thus swapped as they are not an agenda in the corp's score area. Presumably they are just removed from game like a forfeited card.
From a tactical perspective that generally won't be a good trade for the corp as it would generally be more beneficial to trade up points wise.
I've been trying out a janky HB Custom Biotics deck that imports a lot of influence worth of NBN tagging tricks including Exchange of Information. The basic gimmick is HB fast advance using 3/2 agendas including the neutral 3/2 Merger which is worth more in the runner's score area, and Domestic Sleepers.
I've run it a few times (casually) and it actually plays better than I thought it would when I built it. Its main challenge currently is that its econ is completely dependent on Adonis and Eve and thus it is very vulnerable to asset destruction.
But that look when a Domestic Sleeper is exchanged for a Merger.
I disagree with your reasoning that the CEOs would not count as an agenda in the corp's score area. The wording between them and An Offer You Can't Refuse is the same except for the destination, and none of them state that they are an agenda only while in the target area. My guess would be that once any of these cards hits a score area, they are treated as an agenda no matter where they end up...but I'm not exactly an expert so treat this as just my opinion.
Possibly. I would certainly like to see a ruling on it.
