Good against Scorch, bad against Jinteki PE, useless against so much else.
Plus, the Guru is a 1-influence neutral connection resource. No thanks. There are already better ways . . .
I don't really care about the meat damage protection, but the part about net damage definitely catches my attention. I cannot tell how often i am facing a Mushin No Shin -> Junebug or Snare!.
And since there is nothing else equally potent available (except for Deus Ex), i gladly embrace this little fellow as my new buddy (and punching bag) >:]
Semi-playable, but the non-optional nature of the ability is aggravating as it doesn't cooperate with other forms of mitigation for a layered defense. Good vs spike damage, bad vs poke damage. Seems like it could be worked around in some decks, but generally not worth it IMO.
