ChiLo City Grid though
Guess it´s a bit so so for me then
Anyway, I think this is a fantastic card... for NBN.
Because in real life pop-ups often have malicious code that execute when the close() function is called? I'm assuming that's what they're referencing.
One cash is not much, 1 lost on runner not much gain, but i like how this can be used for bluffs, cant be broken (unless you use Femme fatale
It's not Chaos Theory helping the Corporation. A lot of the flavour text on Corporation cards comes from Runners. Take a look at Sunset, too. This flavour text is meant to show the curiosity of the Shapers. Chaos Theory closed it just to see what it does. She's urging others to appease their curiosity.
I read it more like Chaos Theory daring another Runner to close it. Not that she had done it herself and certainly not out of curiosity.
It is really good for the price. I'm just not convinced I like diluting the rest of my deck with "good for the price" cards, when I could have good cards...
If you get it mid/late game, it is always good for protecting PAD campaign or other economy Asset.
awesome card! at first it doesn't seem like much, but over time the +1 -1 effect will give the corp a late game advantage. Without it I would have lost a few games. With rsvp it becomes an end run, over remotes assets cost plus one to trash (marked accounts + pop-up= -6 creds to runner + 1 to corp). With a toll booth, pop up window, and NAPD contracts, it takes gordian blade 12 credits to steal and you gain 1. This ice is amazing.
