Seems like the credit savings could add up, especially for a zero-cost install. Other nice effects come to bear: Lotus Field is Yog-able without springing for a Dinosaurus. This is much more flexible than The Personal Touch or The Helpful AI (and the latter is single-use).
Great for those times when you're just out of reach (Dagger up against an Archer, Yog.0 on Lotus Field, Mimic on Data Raven or Ichi 1.0, etc.).
I think this has a place in many decks.
And...it does not say the meat damage is unpreventable.
Hayley likes 0 cost hardware. If this weren't unique, I would have a lot of fun with it.

Will this affect multiple copies of the same ice - I.e multiple Chameleon's.
No. "choose an icebreaker" means that you have to select a specific one of your installed programs with the subtype "icebreaker".
