Score an Utopia Fragment and this becomes your number 1 economy card, nearly impossible to steal.

That's... wow. I need to try that out.

Mushin No Shin only places the tokens; it doesn't advance, but it gets you closer to the 3 credit zone. Plus, if your opponent is looking right at it, why not get it closer to scoring as well.

Could be decent Midseasons bait. But getting the overall agenda package right for the deck would be very tricky.

This agenda would have been awesome in NBN, in a Beale deck with Midseasons + Psychographics.

The math on this card is interesting...

Install advance advance = -2 credits -2 clicks, +4 credits == ~break even

If the runner does not steal, advance advance advance score = -3 credits -3 clicks +6 credits == ~break even, +2 agenda points

You could also leave it out and keep advancing it to make a slight profit, playing chicken with the runner. If for instance they had already seen or otherwise knew you were going for the Midseasons tag storm and weren't prepared for it yet.

I dunno...definitely the most interesting agenda we've seen in a while.

*I initially thought that this card had synergy with the Shipments from Kaguya and SanSan and Trick of the Light, but they place / move advancement tokens rather than advance...a subtle but crucial difference. Same thing with Matrix Analyzer for that matter.

I thought the same with Mushin No Shin, alas. Still -- interesting

I think that what really makes this card interesting is that you can score it so long as you have a single credit in your pool, which means you can throw up lots of ice to protect your servers, and know that if you have to rez ice, you can still score it. Pretty cool.

Ideal setup: Scored Utopia Fragment, The Root in a decent server, and this at 5+. Reliable economy engine that fast becomes near impossible for the Runner to turn off, and 2 points ready to score whenever you feel like it. Obviously this scenario will be very rare, but it's sometimes nice to dream.

Might as well throw Predictive Algorithm into that mix as well. Wearing a propeller hat and spinning a pinwheel while chanting "la la la la la!!!!" at some point during the course of a game in which you manage to get all the pieces in play is optional, but so totally worth it. ;)

If I am advancing any other 4-point agenda, I'm down 4 credits after scoring it. If I'm playing aggressively, that sometimes leaves me with too little money to leap right into another agenda, and I have to devote effort to banking a few creds. With Oaktown I'm actually up 4 credits even if I don't over-advance it -- that's an 8-point relative difference. It's a great card for keeping the momentum going.

Just as dream-like is the obvious counter: Exploratory Romp!!
