Yeah, this is crap as a singleton. BUT, if you went big with it and played 3 plus some + hand size to mitigate the brain damage it would actually offer some leverage. Impractical, but I'm sure someone will try it.

I actually think this would be more playable as a corp card. It's THAT bad.

With Chrome Parlor to stop the brain damage it's not THAT bad, is it?

If you were going to play Chrome Parlor anyway to further some larger strategy, you could justify including it. But don't do it; just play Imp instead.

Yeah, Imp, Scrubber, Paricia, Demolition Run ... There are many ways to make trashing cards easier. If Skulljack were exactly the same as it is without the brain damage element, it'd be a mediocre card that would almost never make the cut. If it reduced trash costs by 3 it might be worthy of a funky build-around concept that would make Whizzard more competitive. Even then, there are better choices.

Yes, you can deal with the brain damage, but why would you put more cards in your deck to support reducing trashing costs by 1. That's a marginal effect at best, so reinforcing it will never be worth it. Would you really want this instead of Singularity or Imp?

Some might like the artwork and use it as a page marker when reading a book... The first card ever to deserve a negative rating?

Meanwhile in Oaktown Grid: Trash cost increased by 3. Nothing to see here, folks, move along.

EDIT: Ok, let's say you don't like your brain and can live with that. This card still needs a supplement Resource that gives all uninstalled ice/operations a trash cost of 3. Then I will gladly take the 1 brain damage to destroy the hell out of the Corp. Now even with so many Assets it is still a major tempo hit to install this.
