The design is so cool. You can brew your very own, individual icebreaker. The Professor will certainly like it.

Interesting. It certainly seems like a way to dodge those annoying but game balancing rules texts on cards like faerie such as:


When an encounter with a piece of ice in which you used Faerie to break a subroutine ends, trash Faerie.


2 influence actually seems fair; this has a lot of wombo combo potential.

Sharpshooter!  And you can still use the hosted icebreakers normally, too.


Down side is it's expensive and needs to be installed early.

I was thinking more like Switchblade into Sunny's GS suite with 'Smoke' - pay a Stealth Credit and 2 to break almost anything. If you are not entirely happy you can always add a Sharpshooter to get you to that 'over 7 strength' nightmarish ice nobody is playing.

Gordian Blade, Faerie, Corroder! Too bad it will never actually happen...

Actually, run Inti instead of Corroder and you could get a beast breaker for 9 credits.
