This is going to fit in nicely in my Shaper Recur deck. More credits for Dagger!

The influence cost is huge for a support card.
And Dagger in a Criminal deck is worse.

I'm not clear on how Dagger in a Criminal deck is worse. Silencer makes Dagger work in the deck, without having to import Cloaks. It's cheaper than Ninja and Femme in both cost and use, and sticks around unlike Faerie. Plus, Silencer doesn't waste MU.

I think Dagger and Silencer are a perfect combo for Andy, if she can get them in her opening hand. I can see Stirling putting it to good use (hello, Inside Man), and it's thematically perfect for Silhouette as well.

The best for a well-used Dagger would be to have plenty of stealth credit to spend on, and both Cloak and Silencer are influence-expensive.
I said it would be worse in a criminal deck because you yet have to pay for the Dagger.
Hardware can't be tutored, but you can clone it once you installed one. With a Shaper card...
Anyway, it will be tough to play a reliable Dagger. And if one happens to, will the Corp play Sentries ?
i've got plenty of influence to spare, it's a lot but i can squeak one or two in there. my recur deck is my favorite to play in casual play. not a great card in tournament play though.
Before you dismiss this card, consider the fact that it's a recurring credit you can spend on Femme's bypass ability. It doesn't say that the credit has to be spent breaking subroutines.
