"Teacup giraffe" What will they come up with next?

Played directly after a Precognition or Indexing, that's quite cool - otherwise seems very risky.

Teacup elephant? Or even better, unicorn!!

CommissarFeesh, I don't see why those cards would make much difference to showing the runner HQ. If it were R&D, I would see your point though.
Finally, a decent econ card for Jinteki. You can still really play mind games with the runner by leaving 1 card not revealed (Snare? Agenda?) or by showing some key cards and then installing a bunch in unprotected servers. All while making money in the process.

So why does Jinteki get gifts from Celebs and not NBN?
I think Jinteki is the one *creating* and selling the gifts (genetically modified animals).

Of course for a small fee. ;)

D'oh! Note to self: Read cards properly before commenting!

If you wait a few turns, this makes tons of sense because the runner would already know what is in your hand. So not completely wrong. :)

@Rahmal Jinteki gave a gift to a celeb, revealing technologie but gaining reputation and marketing.

I like this card, might even be worth to import research lab to combo it with.
This card could be fun, but I don't know how competitive it will be. When I play Jinteki I normally want the runner to assume what's in my hand (fetals, Snare!) and be afraid of digging into it. There are some situations where I might not care if the runner sees my hand or not, but I don't know if banking on those situations in order to gain money is worth a slot my particular deck. It works a lot better in shell game Jinteki though.

@bourgman - I think you've got the right idea for using this card. You can show the runner ICE-Snare-Snare-Braintrust, and next turn install 3 naked remotes. You net 5c and have caused the runner blood pressure to go up a notch :D Did you install Snare-Braintrust-Snare? Did you force-draw into some other random asset that you installed along with the two Snares? Given, most runners will just draw up and run and probably score that agenda if it's there. I could also see revealing a set of Neural EMPs to keep pressure on the runner to fill their hand, even if they don't need the cards.

I'd say it's much better to show them a Snare! if you have one.
"Yeah Gabe, run my hand. I dare you. I double dare you, motherfucker!"

Also, this card pairs well with Executive Retreat. Let me show you my hand, score E.R. and shuffle all those cards back into R&D. Credit Pool: Full. Swimming Pool: Full. HQ: Empty. Your turn.

Even better if you're packing more than one Snare but only show off the one ;)

I really don't get the thematic link between celebrity teacup giraffes and revealing the corp's hand to the runner in exchange for money.

Jinteki gives technology to a celebrity (costing 3 credits). The celebrity shows off the technology at high-publicity events (revealing your hand). Now, since many people want to imitate their favorite celebrity, sales go up (gaining you credits based on how much tech you revealed to the public). Since this takes longer than other marketing methods, the card costs two clicks to play.

Honestly, this is one of the best cards in the game, design-wise, both thematically and mechanically.

Opulence Jinteki has it.
It's really too bad that they capped it at 5 cards. It would add a little more mind games with no cap, and would also make Cerebral Imaging significantly better, perhaps even playable. Imagine showing the runner your hand of 20 cards and gaining 40 credits. Pretty sweet.

Yes imagine that...Imagine you had 1.000.000.000 clicks per turn OMG THE POSSIBILITIES!!!
