With Snare and Fetal AI, things are really starting to get scary vs. Jinteki. The problem becomes finding room in your deck for all these goodies. Note this is first Ambush that can deal it's damage from Archives.
IMO, this card seems most useful to passively protect Archives against running to charge Datasuckers. I mean, how is one randomly triggered net damage going to really be all that useful? I like Snare better for R&D and HQ protection, thus for me this card's main draw is Archives protection.

Now Record Reconstructor looks a little more useful
IMHO this is one of the best cards to have come out in several sets, probably since Jackson Howard. It seems much stronger than Snare to me. Costless net damage is excellent for Jinteki. Add to this the fact that it has a non-zero trash cost, and it still does net damage even from archives, and you have probably the best trap asset in the game.

For me, this is auto-include in any Jinteki deck.
Playing Noise was great in the beginning, then JH came and balanced it well, but now... anti-AI ICE (just because there is Atman they get to kill the probably the best balanced AI we had - Crypsis), and now Shocks every time you decide to try the Archives? Isn't that the whole point of the ID? And whom else it would hurt anyway?

I will play Shocks (just because I can), but after the expansion is out I do believe Noise would be dead ID, no matter how much I enjoy playing with it.
Fantastic addition to the corporation and probably should be a requirement of at least two of them in every Jinteki deck to protect against archive runs for data suckers and just poking around in there just to poke around in there.
Ruling
Runner chooses order of card access in archives. If he would be flatlined by shock and win for stealing agenda at the same time. He can choose to get agenda first and win.
