If I'm correct in this, I'm house ruling that A Message From Beyond is banned as a reinforcement set.
You get the same problem with Force Rejuvenation, so you should either ban Survivors and Last Minute Rescue too or simply add the sentence "Damage cannot be removed from this unit" to Luke (there are no damage removing cards in the challenge deck itself, right?).
There is one that removes two damage per turn from him, but nothing that removes EVERYTHING. Maybe "Damage can only be removed from this unit by Dagobah Refuge"?
