You need a target for this to work
Because it says "THAT damage", which is most often the blaster unit demage, so my understanding is, that you deflect with the same restrictions to only participating targets.
And it also does not make sense to deflect throug space into Palpatine's office, but I'm new to the game and want to ask for advice.
Yes you can. There's no location restriction.
