This card is so good. Make them pay for that expensive card twice, if they can even afford it.
Unfortunately, a single tactics or echoes of the force just kills this card.
I wouldn't say that not triggering the ability "kills this card", more like "reduces it to a strictly better version of the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer". It may not be the greatest card without it's ability, but I don't think it's unplayable.
Shields help protect Liberty from tactics. Echoes is a potential problem but DS has to decide first if LS has an Echoes too in the edge battle. Liberty tends to work best attacking with an Echoes in your edge stack that commits it. In a perfect scenario you commit Liberty with Echoes, win the edge Battle, and strike first. This tends to happen rarely. It's a nice weapon in the arsenal but it's hard to use.
I think this cards, and the whole sets problem is really just this meta. there are tons of echoes and seeds floating around and with every deck running PotP these days, the objective is basically just countered. maybe in the coming months it will take a few steps forward with all the new vehicles and pilots coming in the upcoming cycle.
