This card is about to get amazing with the Echoes of the Force cycle.
sadly, this card will never be amazing as long as force choke is a staple in the game, plus the rest of the set isn't that great either

Boba Fett, Escape from Ord mantell is amazing with Questionable Contacts, Wookiee Life debt, and either or both Trust Me and Asteroid Sanctuary. Lots of synergy and and damage removal/moving to enemies. Also Trust Me causes opponents to pause when they want to Force Choke something because you just heal it up with Escape from Ord mantell.
It's not amazing, otherwise you'd (I) would see it in competitive play or any of the major tournaments. I have never seen that set played at any tournaments I've played in. Only in casual play. The cards in the set just aren't that strong.
Did you factor in the new mechanics at all? It's not amazing because the Force Struggle isn't as important as it's about to become.

Then again, this is my opinion. And you don't have to share it. :)
Fact remains the sniper gets instagibbed by Force Choke, and as he becomes more relevant, all the more reason to use the event on him and make LS waste 2 resources.

Still, I think the pod is actually good and can only get better. Only time will tell.

has this pod gotten better yet LoL LoL.

Arguably, yes. It's only a marginal difference though.

Mainly, the Mission Commander is a little more relevant due to Scum's better capture mechanics.

The SRH can be piloted, I guess (why would you want to do this is beyond me), and the Sniper is a bit more resilient simply because the meta is not all Vader Sith now (it's still dominant though), but there are a fair amount of competitive Scum builds and Navy will hopefully become strong and popular with Imperial Entanglements.

The pod simply lacks that "wow factor" or any really cost-effective unit to be worth including. The low edge count really hurts it as well.
