It seems as if many prefer Greedo's pod in current Sith control builds to defend against Sleuth Scouts... I haven's had the chance to try it out yet, but to me it feels as if this pod should be better at getting the job done, and also offers good counter measures to Jedi Main decks (with Bossk). Sure, Greedo can mess those Sleuths up if you win edge... but so can the Hunters - and it's 2 of them in the pod. And with heat you can do it without having to win edge... although the enemy get to strike before dying. I'm guessing it's the 3x 2 cost guys that makes all the difference, but these seems so much better at the job (as they can kill Sleuths before they strike). And the objective's 2 resources is great with Palp/Vader.

Is there anyone who prefers this pod before Greedo's? Or maybe my perspective of reality has been warped by listening too much to The Smugglers Den and watching Tiny's streams, and the Greedo pod isn't in fact popular at all ;P
I run this in my version of Sith control. It's been doing pretty well for me.

I have tried out your deck over the last few days DB, and it runs very well, however i have 2 questions. 1) how does it do against the multitude of sleuth decks? 2) what was your thinking behind bossks set over greedos set, just out of curiosity?

1) It does pretty well against the sleuth decks. It has plenty of units that can block, Heat of Battles to help kill, and can use Vader and Palpatine on offense in that match-up very effectively.
2) Greedo's tempting, but I really wanted a 2-resource objective as turn-1 Vader is still a good play in some match-ups. I'll take the trandoshans over the paid informants and both have Bounty. I miss having Captured around, but on the balance the Trandoshans plus HoB tend to make up for that. At least for the way I play the deck. The Paid Informants would allow you to be a little more aggressive sometimes.
Well, I took the deck to a local tournament today and won with it. I will say the heat of battles is what ended up winning me the match. he had 2 objectives down and a 3rd with 3 damage on it. he attacked with the falcon, I defended with a trandoshan hunter, and I won edge with a HoB (I had 2, but only put 1 in in case of a twist. he twisted) and other cards forcing him to pull the falcon back into hand before he struck and drop a Han. I won the next turn when I destroyed an objective pushing the dial to 12.

I was able to weather an early strong board presence of a wookie hunter, chewy, and a guardian (all protectors) utilizing a trandoshan hunters, force chokes, dark precogs, and interrogation, coupled with vader's reaction to finally clear them all out.
The common options for Sith control with scum seems to be either Greedo or Bossk and then either Jabba or Feeding the Pit.
I think Jabba goes better with Bossk (Since you want 2-resource objectives for Vader/Palp/Jabba) and Greedo goes better with Feeding the Pit (since you want another Tatooine objective for the sarlac).

Maybe, but I ended up running Bossk with the Pit. I like being able to just kill the captured cards right away - if placed on Jabba's objective, they tend to be saved quite too often without gaining too much out of it. I do miss the Reversal of Fate for Bounty though and the extra resource, but Spice and Bib are nice cards.
