This card is pretty useless against the Jedi. I'm sure it's good against Rebels where you have a higher chance of winning the force struggle.
It might be harder to pull it off against Jedi, but the card is not useless I think.
Because of them being Elite it is not uncommon for Jedi players to attack or defend with force-assigned units. And the Sith are the DS Affiliation with the most tools to drop focus tokens on enemy units (Palps in this set being a prime example) and with Echoes you can remove a Jedi unit from the force rigging the force struggle. Get his Yoda to defend, remove Qu Rahn with Echoes and win the struggle with Palps: there is your 3-pip difference.
I love it. Sith is slowly rising as my favorite deck. Out of the three times I have been able to pull it has worked. Two of those times against Yoda! One other killing a twilck. You just have to be patient and maybe hold onto it a turn or two but it is totally worth it. MTFBWY may be the reason you hold onto it but after they use that up BOOM. Dead unit for one cost.
The set itself is a must in any sith deck. I mean a possible free unit. I have had really no trouble at all turning the force but against Jedi it can go back and forth a lot. Built in rage on Emp. Echoes I love because I don't run Jeric and I have used it on multiple occasions to decommit Mara while her lightsaber is on her or commit something that is striking to turn off MTFBWY while the inquisitor s obj is out to lock down.
Sith is so much fun and it snuck up on me frankly. The obj game is strong while the instant kill potential is awesome. Give into your anger with so may high force icons cards in there...nice.
