If you combine this with Dark Memories...does it not kill a character outright?
Look at this scenario:
A focus token is placed. The reaction of Dark Memories causes damage. Reacting to that damage, you place a focus token wtih Hunted. Then, Dark Memories reacts to cause damage, etc. etc.
Granted, you need the combo in your hands. But once you have it, a single damage can take out any character. Seems a little OP to me. Am I mistaken?
It's a neat combo, but you're spending two cards worth three pips and either a focus token, blaster, or damaging effect to kill one character. The combo does nothing against vehicles, creatures, or droids, and requires two sets without resources and one without a high-impact unit. Also, the Light Side could commit the unit you enhance to the force and use it as a force hound without any ill effects. The combo is good, but I don't think it's overpowered.
Good points.
You only need one Ghosts of the Dark Side to have 2 Dark Memories though. Combine it with other sets and you can solve the resource issue. You get Force Shockwave in the mix, although that is no great selling point. So that would be 3 sets to pull of the combo twice.
As for asigning the enhanced unit to the force: that excludes it from combat AND turns Seeds into 'Kill target character comited to the force'
Nonetheless, you are right: it is not OP.
A single damage or a single tactics. Yes, the combo works. Beyond the work it takes to set up the combo though, it also can be short circuited by either preventing a damage or a focus token with a shield or preventing damage with Protect.
