I guess it's how you define falling out of the meta; it has certainly made appearances as a 1-of every now and then but the only time I can recently recall where it was a 2-of was in a Brainiac/Skyhopper deck (which is now restricted).
The Pros you've mentioned are valid but the fact that both units have low health and the fact that both of the events are only 1-pip put it a bit below the power curve in the current meta (although not nearly as much as Trust Me is currently). I'm honestly a fan of No Match as a one-of if I'm looking for a Han; great T1 unit there.
I agree that it depends on how you define meta. While certainly not as ubiquitous and relevant through the life of the game as something like Emperor's Web, this was still a not uncommon objective set from what I saw. I actually really like Crossfire. I think the low edge count holds it back the most, with the low health more to the glass cannon nature of the units, with high upsides and glaring weaknesses.
