For this card, does the "if able" mean that if they are unable to discard 2 cards, they do not have to discard? Or must they discard as many cards as they can to a maximum of two?
Correct, you name a type of card...event. I would discard up to two event cards that I have in my hand. If I dad one I would discard one, two two, or none if I had none,
The opponent isn't required to discard cards of the type specified. He can discard any two cards. For each of those cards that matches the specified type, the Smuggler draws a card.
