This card is situational, but handy against the new Vader. I like to use it to push him off to a focused fighter at the beginning of my Conflict phase, so he can't participate and use his ability. It's also got nice synergy with Desperation against Sith.
Situational, sure. But I think it is really useful with the Pilot keyword. You could bounce Vader, or you could switch a pilot onto a new/better ship of your own (like LE-Bo2D9, for example), or move a Gray Squad Gunner from a light ship to a beast like Independence unexpectedly.
This card was made to reassign Palpatine's lightsaber..

Or just stick him on something that's buried in focus, so he can't get into fights that turn.
