Ok so... I know there's a load of rules FAQs but I'm going to list off my understanding and if I'm wrong about anything just shout.
- Death Star Ready Room doesn't make him cheaper for his Action, only if you played him.
- His reaction does trigger from Stay On Target.
- If I had a second copy in my hand I couldn't play it and choose to discard the first one due to the unique rule.
- If I played him onto a card with a pilot already attached he would need to be the final pilot who stays in play to trigger his reaction.
Sounds like you've got it all correct. And another thing I could see someone missing - using DS-61-3's action neither benefits from nor triggers Elite Pilot Training (because that one is all about playing cards, but the action isn't playing a card).
