If I have 2 copies of the objective out, does the effect stack?

Also, how would this objective interact with a hypothetical Black Squadron card that already had a resource value? For example, a 1-resource card. Would it become a 2-resource card if I was using it to pay for a Black Squadron card?

Yes to all.

I think I'm right but does this include things like the Black Squadron pilots? So you can cast them for 2, use their resource immediately for 1? Then they still lend their abilities to the piloted vehicle as the ability doesn't require the pilot to be unfocused?

Yes, it works. Just be careful with, say, Mithel, who needs to focus to use his pilot ability.

Does a Black Squadron card granted resources by this ability grant resources of the faction of the card in question? For example, DS-61-3 would grant an Imperial Navy resource, while Black 2 would grant a Sith resource, right?

I believe so, but they still could only be used on cards with the Black Squadron trait.
