If this unit is exhausted, does its Pilot enhancement still contribute its Force icons to your side during the Force struggle?
The 181st tie intercepters only requirement for its card text to function is that's it's piloted.
Yes. When in doubt, always take the most literal interpretation of a card's effect.
I would say yes.
Rules: "Each player now adds the number of Force icons on his ready units that are committed to the Force. This number is his force total."
1. I doesnt say it wouldn't. Only requirement is that it has a pilot.
2. Abilities on cards work even when focused (if they dont require focusing as a cost)
3. This unit isn't even commited and its pilot still contributes
You still need to commit this unit to the Force in order for it to add its pilot's Force icons to the Force struggle, right?
no, any pilot attached adds its icons to the force struggle.....the tie commited or not. only requirement is "Piloted"
this is a nice feature because even is the unit is exhausted the pilot still contributes....fel or merek in a 181st is great!
but commiting the tie would give you the units + the pilots icons to the force...nice little bonus.
