A quick question on timing. I think I'm right, but best to be sure.
So:
My opponent attacks with a 2 drop with 2 black guns, and has another 2 cost unit holding back. I'm defending with this X-Wing. I lose the edge battle. Before my opponent focuses to strike I sacrifice this unit, and bounce his other 2 drop, the one not attacking.
So his attacking unit is still participating in the battle. Am I right in thinking it still has to focus to strike, even though there is no defender on my side?
That's right. All ready units must focus to strike once they're in an engagement, even if there's no target on which to resolve their combat icons.
